Description
Nice example of the rare Cavalier Cabriolet. Previous owner had the car for 30 years of which the last 20 was in storage as part of private collection. The car was recommissioned for the road in 2022 with full service, new tyres, brake components, fuel pump and relay, coil and cam belt. Currently on sorn, it is mot'd till November 25. Lovely driving car with solid body and only minor cosmetic blemishes on exterior paintwork. Seats and interior good. The only issue is the roof. When acquired the roof seemed good however it would seem that the years in storage have unfortunately deteriorated the material and after being put up and down a couple of times the material frayed and tore around the fold points at rear. I used it all last summer with the roof down and it still works and is functional when up but being frank, when it's up it detracts from the otherwise good looks and it leaks in heavy rain. Keep it in a garage and use indefinitely or get it professionally repaired? I have priced it to reflect the hood issue, other than that it is a great car at a bargain price. Any questions, just ask, located in Ayrshire.
