Description
Citroen 2CV6 - Project
This 1988 2CV6 has been partly renovated, benefitting from a galvanised chassis along with new sills, floor pans, window scuttle panel, boot floor panel and rear light panel.
An ideal ‘project’ or ‘donor’ car, having already had a lot of preparation done, it includes 4 new wheels, new brake linings and numerous original parts. However it will need new bumpers, folding roof, seat covers, battery and minor components to complete the project. Has original logbook history with service stamps.
The engine was running in 2019 prior to the start of the renovation project. It has been resprayed white (originally a Red & White Dolly) with a plan to create a ‘Beachcomber’ livery, although the bodywork still needs further attention.
The 2CV has only had 2 previous owners (same family). In 2001 the car was declared an insurance ‘CAT D’ which is the least serious category (meaning the car is structurally sound). The last owner purchased the car in 2008 and the MOT’s confirm it then completed 4, 000 miles, prior to the start of the renovation project.
Delivery can be arranged.
