I had this van imported, with the intention of converting her into a bar. Unfortunately time has escaped me and it’s still sitting in the barn 2 years later. This original and very genuine van deserves a good home and a second lease of life!The van was imported from France from a single owning family. Its only covered 68, 000 KM and whilst I only drove limited mileage in her, the engine and gearbox were fine. Slow and noisy, but mechanically good. The rear weighted breaks need some attention.
The bodywork is what it is, very solid chassis with a few rust spots on the panels, but overall a very solid example of this classic and unmolested van. I’m into the patina look, but it’s prime for a full restoration/ respray if that’s your look.
This van would be great for all sorts of conversions from a camper to a bar or catering van. The world is your oyster!
I haven’t registered her for a UK registration yet, but quite a simple process as I understand.
