Description
This is a Whitehawk TY175 and is road registered and SORN’d. Three trials since engine overhaul: resleeved back to standard with new piston and thicker sleeve to allow boring to 200cc. The other mod to allow this, of full length barrel studs is done. New con rod big and small ends and all engine and gearbox seals, fibre reeds, and clutch friction plates and springs and air filter element. Exterior gear linkage replaced and front forks have new chrome tubes and seals. New IRC rear tyre. I replaced the points and condenser but have not fitted electronic ignition. Fuel tank sealed to allow modern fuels (otherwise necessary to drain and flush tank after every event!). Rear shocks are rebuildable, a job I haven’t done as yet, or just buy a pair of OZO’s at about £100.
This is a private sale, I can’t adapt to right brake from my classic bike so it’s not being used and needs to be out there being ridden. I think that the price is very reasonable.
