Recent MOT. Removal of engine and extensive chassis rebuild and engine service. I may have missed an item or two due to the volume of work, ready to ride and enjoy.
KEY FACTS
* This Aprilia Moto 6. 5 is a highly original example of the distinctive, Philippe Starck-designed modern classic city bike and are now becoming very collectible.
* It is powered by a 649cc Rotax four-stroke five-valve single-cylinder engine, producing around 43bhp, coupled to a five-speed transmission.
* The odometer shows 61775 Kms from new.
* First registered in February 1995, this example was originally purchased in Germany, it is currently registered in the UK.
Parts replaced… new black indicators (I have three original Grey ones included) front wheel bearings, rear wheel bearings all swinging arm bushes and pivot bearings and bushes replaced. Steering head bearings replaced. Fork oil and seals changed. Rear shock absorber cleaned painted. Hel front and rear brake pipes, new brake pads front and rear.
Fully serviced engine check valve clearances and adjusted when needed, new iridium spark plug, changed engine oil and oil filter for OE model, replaced oil hoses. Stripped and inspected water pump new seals . Antifreeze hose clips replaced hoses where needed, flushed radiator. New front and rear sprockets, chain and chain tensioner. New battery, new front and rear Bridgestone Battlax BT46 tyres. New Domino handlebar grips.. Exhaust system polished. . clean and flushed fuel tank. rebuilt carburettor wash cleaned air filter.
Spare petrol tank, indicators and swinging arm, included in sales price.
Any inspection possible via. Prior appointment. I purchased to keep and enjoy but the reason for sale is sadly an Arthritic neck, preventing me from riding it for longer periods.
