Overall a very good example of a scimitar, bodywork is very good although there are a few bad areas. ( I have pictured the worst)
There is a large file of history with the car, I had to replace a head gasket and the engine internally as far as I could tell by the bores has been rebuilt at some point having done very few miles since, it has also been bored to 030"+.
The car is a 4 speed overdrive which operates well, I've changed the mater and slave cylinders as well as fitted a braded clutch line to replace the old plastic design.
The interior has been redone quite well in the past with i belive proper leather, the headliner could do with some attention but nothing major, it has began to sag where it is attatched to the webasto roof.
Its had 4 shocks put on by the previous owner which operate well and are very good koni krypton gas filled shocks. The exhaust is stainless with mild steel tubular manifolds which do need replaced, previously the car was very low at the front which has caused the manifolds to blow presumably hitting speed bumps.
It benefits from an alloy radiator with an electric fan helping make it more drivable especially in traffic. I've only had the car a short time yet in that time have made a lot of small improvements, having previously not been used regularly I have gone over everything and fixed whatever it needed to make it more reliable.
I've had the car approx. 2 months and in that time its been in daily use, currently I've covered about 4-5000 miles in it which have been almost faultless.
The only reason for sale is that I fancy a change, this is my second scimitar and while I love the car I need to make room if I want a change. I've tried to highlight the car the best I can including both the positives and the negatives and I'm happy to answer any questions.
The price is firm although I am open to very close offers but I'm also not in a rush to get rid of it.
