Description
This well-known design, which was very influential for BMW in the 1970s, was largely the work of designer Wilhelm Hofmeister. As the successor to the BMW 2000, the E9 was available in various versions from 1968. The automatic version presented here is one of only 244 vehicles hand-built by Karmann with the original badge in the door frame. According to a non-binding estimate by the E9 Club in Germany, there are probably around 30 examples left worldwide. Apart from the paint colour (previously Alpine White), everything on this BMW 2. 5 CS is original and it is in good condition. It is also one of the last BMW E9s ever produced.
