Chrysler Le Baron GTC 3. 0 V6 automatic Cabriolet.
The last series of Le Baron production - the third generation after the facelift. In 1992, Chrysler removed the hidden headlights, introduced new wheels, and the GTC version got a new body-color grille. The 3. 0 engine was designed by Mitsubishi, but with the four-speed automatic, it is very American - it feels best at not very high revs, while driving dignified on fairly straight roads. Let them watch.
The Le Baron I have to offer is the European version - the counter is calibrated in kilometers per hour, it also has orange turn signals. Before this copy appeared in Poland, it was driven in Germany, where it was probably bought new. The German owner had a very dubious idea of upholstering the interior with red velour. This error has been fixed, although here and there you can see signs that someone was doing him harm. It has a new roof, new exhaust, new battery and is in fantastic condition.
A fantastic first convertible for the enthusiast, and with very little money and tweaking a few little things, an exceptional show car. In two years of driving it, I have never met another Le Baron on the road. Every ride on it drew people's looks and comments. I love this car, but life is too short and two years is enough for me. Time for a new project.
The car spent the winter in the garage, and in the spring and summer it was used more for weekend trips than as a daily basis.
Things to do: minor paintwork corrections, the left rear window won't roll down, the odometer doesn't record the mileage (I've done about 10-15 thousand with it), a new plug by the gearbox is needed. You can also ignore it all and just enjoy the wind in your hair and the beautiful purr of the V6. You will love it for sure. Its super rare - I've never met another one.
And its such a pleasure to drive it. I love how it goes, how the engine purrs, and the wind in the hair.
