Description

Car is located in Belfast. Same logbook as rest of UK. Just a matter of flying over then driving car to port and going direct to either Cairnryan, Liverpool or Holyhead. Easy process.

Selling my 1968 Ford Mustang, here is a description of some of the work it has had over the years. Really has to be seen in person to be appreciated. This car was owned for 30 years by the previous owner who has spared no expense keeping & restoring it.

The only reason I am selling the car is because my father & I have bought a 1977 Pontiac Firebird as it was his dream car and one came up that was exactly what he wanted. Unfortunately we don’t have space to keep both and are now having to rent a shed to keep the Pontiac in, this is an expense we would rather not have so unfortunately have decided to part with the Mustang.

Bodywork-

It is Dark Green (Ford Tourmaline Green). Was resprayed about 10 years ago. The car was originally Highland Green from factory as seen on the build sheet.

Ducktail spoiler & GT scoops etc fitted at same time.

Absolutely no rust.

Excellent chrome work

It has California Special badges added by the previous owner - the car is not a California special however it is the same spec except for the rear lights. I was going to take them off but they didn’t bother me and never ended up doing it..

Engine-

289 / 4. 7L

Top end engine rebuild with upgrades-
Holly 4 barrel carb
Edlebrock inlet manifold

I have had a few American cars but none with history and original documentation like this. I would say this is very rare to have in my experience.

This car has been maintained to a very high standard with absolutely no expense spared. Has been in Northern Ireland since 1993 and I believe the car was imported to the UK in 1974.

Not a single piece of rust on the car and paint is absolutely beautiful. Has to be seen to be appreciated.
