The GS460 uses the same powertrain as the LS and GX models amongst many others from Toyota group but since it is in a lighter body and does without complex features such as air suspension, 4x4 etc it absolutely flies.
I'd been looking for a U. K. model but found this one with much lower miles and in better condition so imported it myself myself recently. They don't use salt on the roads in southern Japan where this car comes from and it's a mild climate which when combined with the low mileage means the underside is like new with zero corrosion. It has just been professionally undersealed and cavity injected to ensure it stays in this condition for years to come.
It has been registered and serviced for the U. K. The recently passed (with zero advisories) MOT required a rear foglamp and this has been done properly using genuine Lexus parts, not just converting one of the reverse lights with a red bulb like most others, or worse yet a stick-on unit under or in the rear bumper. The dials are professionally converted to show correct-reading mph and the correct mileage in miles and the trip computer also operates in English unike some other Japanese imports. It has also been professionally mapped to run on EU grade fuel (cars in Japan run on 100RON petrol which is rarely available in the UK)

I really like how it drives and performs as well as it does yet looks so subtle. It's more powerful and often quicker than rivals such the Audi S4, BMW 545i V8, Mercedes E500 V8, C43 etc yet has far better quality and reliability and due to its light weight it also handles and rides brilliantly. The 8 speed automatic is super slick and shifts seamlessly. It also has a manual shifting function and sport / snow modes. The engine is super refined (and chain driven) yet makes a great noise when required and is absolutely bullet-proof with many models covering over 500, 000 miles with ease. The suspension dampers feel super fresh and are also switchable, really adding to the overall driving experience.
The body, interior, suspension, mechanicals are all in fantastic condition including brakes, tyres, gearbox etc, no warning lights and it drives amazingly well. It's had no expense spared, the MOT tester was staggered as to the condition of the underside in particlar. An impending company car arrival means I no longer have use for it hence the sale.
