1983 Triumph TSX There are only 371 of these bikes produced, 200 of them were delivered to the USA, with only 67 in black and 133 in Gypsy red. 100 stayed home in England, and 71 were distributed around the rest of the world.
This is the only instance of Triumph's signature twin-cylinder models being designed by an American. Wayne Moulton, president of Triumph Motorcycles America. The factory's American arm. Referencing Japanese rivals in the custom low rider market, Moulton advertised the TSX stateside with the line,
“A Yamakawahonzuki It Ain't”.
