Here is my Dolomite 1500HL
I have owned this car for several years now but due to my wifes ill health we are unable to enjoy using it anymore , i have recently had the carbs rebuilt and the engine tuned, also the garage serviced the car and renewing any parts that were needed including both calipers , overall the car is in good condition , the interior could do with a bit of tlc as the varnish on the wood door trims is in need of renewing and there is a small split in the top of the dashboard that happened last summer in the extreme heat we had, under the bonnet and in the boot there is no rot, the only poor bits of bodywork are the rear wheel arches the left hand side one is just starting to bubble and the right hand side one has a small hole , please check the pictures , i was planning to repair these prior to selling but had to admit to myself that i just haven`t got the time and i wasn't prepared to bodge it just to sell it. I have tried to list the car as best i can . if you have any questions please ask. viewing is welcomeI bought this car as years ago i drove one and fell in love with the sheer simplicity of it , coupled together with the comfort and style . i knew that one day i would buy one for myself , well about 5 years ago , albeit it took a lot longer than i had hoped , i bought this lovely sandglow yellow version, i have enjoyed many summer days driving this old car and will be sad to see it go, but i would rather that than watch it sit and rot away due to me not having the time to enjoy maintaining and driving it anymore
