Description
A stunning rare GS150 VS3 in a beautiful Baldet Arc-En-Ciel 60s dealer special scheme which compliments the bulbous lines of the iconic GS150. Rebuilt around 5 years ago by the previous owner in Athens, he is very particular about his classic scooters and cars, and only perfection will do.
The paint is stunning with a seamless pinstripe separating the silver and red. It really is a top quality paint job and would cost over 2k to do today.
This VS3 still has the original VS3 engine and UB23 carb and airbox, and thanks to upgrading the 6v points system to a proven and the best 12 volt SIP Vape Sports ignition it is now reliable and has bright lights not dull 6 volt lights.
The VS3 never came with a rear brake light, which made me nervous riding in modern traffic so we have cleverly fitted two original 1960's bullet lights each side of the rear numberplate as working brake lights.
The original VS3 speedo is a work of art in itself, much nicer than the VS5 Speedo shape.
The GS rides lovely with no issues , goes up hills with ease.
The Ardor horncast embellisher, fork link cover and Vigano rear rack are not included. I do have an original Vigano Horncast, and red Super Fork link cover that will be if I get the price I want.
The legshield trims are UK handmade triple chromed Ardor style.
It has a very rare original Catulux Vespa rear light.
It won Best Vespa at Margate Mod weekender 2023.
It was invited and showed at Scooter Expo 2023.
It is a scooter you can ride and show it's that good.
Comes with Veteran Vespa Club Dating Certificate.
The frame and engine numbers are clear VS3T * 0028..., VS3M* 00283..
£9650 Sensible offers invited.
