This car has been an absolute belter!
Top comfort, easy to drive, most reliable car I’ve owned and I’ve owned a good few.
I purchased it in May 2023 on 75k miles from a local dealer, with the main purpose to tow my show truck around as you can see in the video, the Antara has just ticked over 100k and it’s running better than the day I purchased it.
Just to put the reliability talk where my mouth is, it hasn’t broken down on me once and this thing towed that Chevy truck from the midlands to Poland and back over 1200 miles in one trip in 6 days with no issues, then to many other shows all over the UK including goodwood etc, so reliable is an understatement.
When I purchased it, the transfer box blew out on the way home and as many of you know these suffer from bad transfer boxes (most people remove the prop shaft to make it 2 wheel drive) however, the dealer I purchased this from paid for a brand new transfer box that I found and from Bristol Street Transmissions (£1200 at the time) and paid to have it fitted, along with gearbox and diff fluid change. So I’m going to class this as a RARE still 4X4 model :’)
I've also had a full detachable swan neck tow bar and wiring installed, this will stay on the Antara.
This has just had a fresh MOT (expires 2ND May 2025)
I’ve also just fitted 4 x brand new Toyo Proxes SUV tyres, EBC ultimax discs & EBC green stuff pads all round, full service including oil, oil filter, both fuel filters & K&N panel filter.
This is a genuine reason for sale as my show truck is up for sale as well & I’m looking to build a new show vehicle and I don’t need the Antara to tow anything now, so I’m going to downsize the daily for a while.
Paintwork has been fully machine polished May 24’ and coated - car is in amazing condition for its age and usage, couple of bits here and there but nothing paint wise needed.
Interior is full black leather, front heated seats, has the full nav pack touch screen display, cruise control, xenon headlights, Bluetooth audio, aux & usb connection, roof rack, parking sensors front and rear, 19’ black alloys, tinted windows, electric folding side mirrors, electric windows, AC that runs insanely cold, folding rear seats.
