2cv Dolly 1988, 21, 300 miles, F916 CKW
MOT history back to 2018 at 19393 miles but no previous paper work.
A recent full service revealed rear brake drums had never been removed (still had original grease caps in situ) and condition of drums and brake linings were virtually as new.
The value covers had never been removed: evidence pointing to the mileage being genuine, backed up by the smooth ride and general performance. Poor storage in its fairly recent past has led to a comprehensive face lift, including a respray and replacement of many parts as follows: -
New roof, new wheels and Michelin tires.
Reupholstered seats, new wiring loom, oil filler/ breather, fuel pump, indicators, plug leads, coil, headlamp support bracket, 123 ignition front bumper and over-riders, carburettor spacer block, a replacement carburettor and alternator.
The car sits on a galvanised chassis. Although showing 7 previous owners there are known to have been at least 5 over the last six years; one being a Citroen dealer and the one before me never lived to take delivery!
Having been used infrequently. it now needs a new owner to use it as intended.
In excellent b+ condition it is becoming increasingly difficult to find examples within this realistic price bracket.
