If Heineken built a state of the art NorbStar.......
Built by Gary Martin from an original purchase of £15500...... then stripped out the engine and gearbox and sold them, likewise the forks and front wheel.
He then gusseted the custom Reynolds T45 nickel bronze welded frame and added an extra engine mount behind the crankcase, made beautiful 8mm thick aircraft Dursley’s engine plates. The forks are all new with hard chrome tubes, the front brake is a rare replica of Haillwoods Honda six with 4 leading shoes and custom linkages made by Gary.
The engine is now a full road or race ABSAF unit with BTH electronic ignition and a Mikuni carb. The RRT2 gearbox case now contains a 5 speed from Nova Racing, primary drive is by Bob Newby with a dry clutch and toothed belt, inside brand new primary cases.
All ally work is by Holtworks.
Electrics are all new with 12 v and all LED bulbs
The gauges are original re built professionally and mounted in Gary’s own alloy muffs from billet.
Rims are 19” alloy with polished stainless spokes
The alloy chain guard is hand made as is the rear brake lever
The whole bike is put together with custom made/ modified stainless studs, nuts and bolts, the detailing is exquisite and has to be seen.
The bike starts and runs fantastic and is extremly fast with just 700 miles since build and is super easy to ride unlike a traditional Gold Star.
This bike could be raced, shown (has already won awards)ridden on the road or just polished and looked at...... its that good
