Description
This machine has not been restored so it ha a lovely patina to the paint and chrome work. There is a small dent in the fuel tank.
The engine has had a top end rebuild. Has had a rebore, new pistons and rings, new valves, guides, seats and a head skim.
It has also had a Boyer electronic ignition fitted with a carb rebuild kit.
It has around 500 miles since the rebuild and is running well.
It has a new pair of Avon Road Rider tyre as well as a pair of new end cans as the old ones rotted out.
The bike has matching frame and engine numbers. The bike was ordinally sold to the US market before being imported back to the UK. First UK registered January 1986.
Historic vehicle registered, V5 in my name. 4th owner since UK registration.
I purchased the bike November 2019.
Unfortunately I don't have any history with the bike, only what I have acquired since I have owned the machine.
