Just arrived in part exchange and sold as a part exchange to clear. Super 2 Berth Van with only 2 owners from new, our customers have owned the van for the last 14 years! So, we have seen a mileage decrease in the MOT History between 2008 and 2009, it may have been an input error but we have no evidence of this either way. In essence, this is a very good van with room to improve or personalise accordingly. The exterior is certainly not perfect but presents itself very well indeed, the front wings have some bubbling under the paint, as do some / all of the wheel arches. This all appears to be just cosmetic and could be rectified at a bodyshop if desired. The panels overall are very good throughout the front, rear and sides but do have age related marks in places. A very good bike rack with electrics. The van has recently had a fair amount of welding carried out for the latest MOT (Feb 2024), which has been carried out to a decent standard and protected with under seal thereafter. The van has MOT until the end of February 2025 with only two advisories, one being the welding has been protected / covered and the other for front brake pipes being greased. Not bad at all for a 21 year old Transit. I have driven the vehicle over 50 miles and can confirm that all is well, in fact it drives really nicely indeed. The engine keeps perfect temperature with no fluid leak issues, enough power and smoke free. The gearbox is still tight enough and all gears are easy to engage, no slipping from the clutch. The steering wheel has no wobble whilst accelerating, cruising or braking and the vehicle is tracked well and holds the road perfectly straight. Brakes, suspension and drive train all operate properly with no issues. The van is carpeted throughout including the roof, no water ingress or issues in this regard. Sofa turns into a double bed, all very clean and comfortable. Spot lights, Pioneer speakers, well organised and labelled fuse box, spotlessly clean gas cooker and hob with adjacent gas canister cabinet with regulator fixing to fire the oven up quickly and easily. Microwave also spotlessly clean. Sink and draining board area with plumbing, electric fridge, again spotlessly clean, Lift out shower tray, leave it at home or take it with you! Shower with ceiling mounted shower curtain, the shower appears to have an electric pump attached, along with water tanks to the right hand side of the removable shower tray. Presumably the pump also takes the residual water away in to the tanks, as these appear to be plumbed in. Lots of storage space, small table on a rotating pillar, plug sockets with USBs, aerial and TV socket with Vision Plus amplifier, leisure battery and Milenco automatic battery charger, external power mains hook up, vents for cooker, external BBQ point, external water hook up, mains power cable, water barrel / aqua roll with Truma feed, grey waste container and pipes, fire extinguisher, fire and CO2 alarms, AMP metre, reflective window blockers for the cabin, entry step, and more! In summary, this is a very usable, well appointed and well driving motorhome for very little money. You can improve it or simply use it as it is. Ready to go, all you need is a gas bottle and campsite reservation!
