Description
Restored professionally during the mid ‘80’s the car has been carefully maintained and has had much subsequent work carried out on her by a highly regarded Riley specialist (documentation and invoices support this). The car spent some years in Norway and has won a ‘Best in Show’ at a classic car event in Sweden.
The engine underwent a full overhaul in 1989 and details are supplied in the substantial file supplied. Considerable expenditure has been lavished upon this fine Riley ensuring it remains in excellent order. Registered on 29th September 1953, this car is one of the last RMF models before the introduction of the Pathfinder that same year.
Whilst in the care of its current enthusiast owner, the car has been carefully maintained and has had much work carried out on her by a highly regarded Riley specialist (documentation and invoices support this).
The car was fully checked over professionally in 2023 and we have invoices to support this. Recently she has had a full clutch overhaul.
She drives very well and is a tremendous example of the model.
Lots of documentation goes with the car going back decades including some very old photographs.
Also comes with lots of spares (although the RM club has huge stock if necessary).
Car was purchased from highly regarded dealer and link to the original advert here: - details aboveMy son calls the car Cruella as it reminds hime of the film, although a different colour. She is a real pleasure to drive and always attracts lots of waves and smiles. Takes you back to when you had to drive the car rather than all the modern aids. We use it for family days out and picnics, although we have done one or two shows but purely to get into the shows for free!
The mileage is clearly not correct as the car has been fully restored in the past.
We have only done a few hundred miles in her. She really does need to spend time with a family who use her and take her out more often than we do.
