Description
PROJECT VEHICLE. Genuine +2 130S Coupe built in July 1973 in yellow with black and gold part cloth interior and since changed to JPS colours of Black & Gold. Car has been off the road since late 1987 (37 years) and comes with a history file until 1987. Partially dismantled state as evidenced by the images and no longer has the original Twincam drive train (engine, gearbox, propshaft etc). Parts missing appear to be the full drive train, petrol tank, water radiator, headlamp operating vacuum tanks, carpet set, dash top, centre console, screen rubbers etc. Car does have all panels (bonnet, boot, doors, headlight pods) all the suspension (recent replacement front and rear wishbones, discs, calipers), rear differential, drive shafts (Hardy Spiced universal joint versions as opposed to the original "donought" versions), front & rear seats, all glass, pedal box, front & rear bumpers, heater assembly, wiring loom, roof lining, sun visors, seat belts, door pads and, 1/ 4 panels "Knock on" steel wheels (recent tyres ), all lights including the original Lucas fog lights, dashboard with original instruments, crash pad cover etc. Chassis seems to be perfectly sound but would benefit from being shot blasted and being repainted after being in existence for approaching 40 years. Has Lotus chassis pate and current V5C Registration Document in our name. Ideal project for someone with some classic car restoration knowledge and a blank canvass for a modern day drive train to be fitted of their preference. Has a pair of spare doors, steering rack and wish bones.
