A rare bird! Reliant Scimitar GTC, one of only 440 built.
Power steering, electric windows, four speed manual with overdrive.
Original hood, in good condition.
Although MOT and tax exempt, has been checked over by local garage, and declared sound in every respect, including the all important chassis, which although not galvanised, is in excellent condition.
This was prior to an 800 mile touring holiday, when it performed extremely well, averaging 30 mpg
Has had an alloy radiator fitted, tubular exhaust manifolds, new alternator, and been thoroughly serviced.
When we got it, the paintwork on the nose cone was in poor condition, ( see photos)so we took the decision to have it vinyl wrapped, which is easily removed. The rest of the paint under the wrap is in good condition.
There is also a hardtop available by separate negotiation.
The interior is in excellent condition, and all the electrics ( including the clock!) work
To sum up , a reliable, unusual four seater convertible, all mechanical service items readily available.
Reason for sale, we’re getting another dog, so have bought a Scimitar SE6b
