• Westfield founder Chris Smith built his first Eleven in 1982 as a faithful copy of the 1956 Lotus XI, Colin Chapman's clever and very slippery sports racer.
• Extremely limited production runs mean these are rarely available today.
• This example was built by an incredibly talented racing driver/ engineer as his own car.
• Purchased direct from Westfield on 11/ 07/ 2016 for £12269. 32 and built out over the following 12 months.
• Curvaceous, pre-coloured, fibreglass bodywork, on a fully triangulated space frame chassis.
• Presented in navy blue with a superbly finished cockpit in classic red.
• Opting for a period 1760 Ford Crossflow Mexico Engine with big valve, twin 40 Webbers and a 234 fast-road camshaft, she really does fly.
• A stainless-steel Westfield exhaust produces a wonderful and addictive note.
• With a Quaife 4-speed dog-leg gearbox, she is rapid up and down the box with precision gear selection.
• Ignition is a 3D Motorsport electronic No Diz map sensor and crank trigger.
• Sitting on a new set of Minilites and R888R tyres, which grip and track and allow for cornering at extremely high speeds.
• Aluminium racing brake callipers, paired with ventilated discs, deal with braking very well, giving you the confidence to attack the corners.
• Weighing in at 530kg and sporting 145bhp, this Eleven is extremely fast and very capable.
• Built initially as a track-focused race car, she has been built with consideration for being made road legal, and hence is IVA enabled.
• A custom-made wiring loom, by HYBRID tune, has all the features and connections required for road legal lighting requirements; the wiring harness is labelled and tucked neatly away pending future use connections.
