Ducati 999 Monoposto Motorcycle - Only 2500 Miles from new, Mint Condition!
The bike is in mint condition and all paintwork is super bright, no stone chips, marks or blemishes. The calipers have no grime on them, the forks are in lovely condition with no rubbing of the nitrite coating as you normally see. There are two cosmetic downsides which is some grime on the rear shock (this oftern happens with no hugger and I'm not sure if it could be cleaned off or not, I've not tried as i dont want to damage the paint on the shock) and a small part of the rear engine casing has some of the paint flaking off (again a common issue with these). I've included photos of both these parts. There is no rust anywhere on the bike. It has aftermarket master cylinder and clutch cap covers and a carbon fibre heel plate round the exhaust downpipe. It still has its original chain and the bike is basically standard as it came out the factory.
It doesn't currently have an MOT but given its done 210 miles since its last one it will sail through. It's never had any advisories on the MOT history except a note for noisy exhaust. I can possibly get it MOT'ed for a buyer if the local garage has any slots.
Bike is located just south of Canterbury, Kent and viewing is welcome any time. No test rides given it has no MOT. I love the bike dearly but it's not being ridden at all.
I purchased the bike from a gentleman a couple of years ago after it had been sat as a display object in his house. It was fully recomissioned by Ducati ProTeam in Dartford with brand new belts, oils, filters, full overhaul and check. It had a brand new pair of Michelin Road 6 super soft tyres fitted and new pads etc. (so the tyres and belts are basically new and have had just under 250 miles use). It had a brand new gel battery fitted last week.
