Great rust free OEM+ condition presented in black with rainbow interior, BBS RA alloys, sunroof, electric front windows and original glass all around.
The car is ready to drive and would be a happy daily driver if required, the MOT is until Dec 2024 with no advisories on previous inspection.
157, 000 miles so some honest signs of cosmetic wear and tear which I'm happy to point out!
Very good history dating back to 1994 with a thorough folder of invoices of the work that has taken place over the years and everything I have had done in my previous 4 years of ownership.
The original KR 16v engine has been driven with care and maintained over the years by classic VW specialists, it’s a very happy free revving engine that runs great and pulls nicely up the rev range.
Most of the auxiliary parts on the engine have been replaced with OEM parts within the last 15, 000 miles, this includes new
- Water pump
- Starter Motor
- Fuel pump
- Power steering pump
- Thermostat
- Head Gasket and lots more I am happy to chat about over the phone!
The clutch and flywheel were replaced around 15, 000 miles ago so both have plenty of life in them
OEM+ is due to there being a Jetex stainless steel exhaust which makes a nice throaty noise and also the suspension being Eibach Pro progressive springs paired with Bilstein B4 shocks all around which I find have been very comfortable for everyday road use.
