Description
You know you want it Sir! Don’t you Sir! A 4. 0 litre Supercharged XJR6.
Flamenco Red with oatmeal leather, only 3 owners before me.
The previous owner had it 23 years, as his daily driver. I have invoices totalling over £24, 000 for work spent on it. I recently did a 250 mile round trip to the Jaguar Breakfast Club to celebrate 30 years of the Supercharged XJR6, the drive there was a blast with no issues with the car. All the areas that can rust have been replaced/ repaired/ treated. The leather interior is in fantastic condition the drivers seat has been repadded and recovered by SM Trimmers (they worked on the late Queens cars) I have an invoice for £1660. 00 for the drivers seat. The correct alloys are in superb condition fitted with new genuine centre caps. Four matching Continental tyres. Comes with the rare option of electric sunroof, works as it should with no leaks, the seal has been replaced. Headlining good except slight droop at the back. See all the photos, it shows the car in its true light. Paintwork and bodywork very good. The clock has been replaced. The boot is clean and dry, comes with fitted rubber mat, and full size spare and jack. MOT until May 2025
Under the bonnet it even has its toolkit intact. Some work that has been done recently is at 157187 miles, removed throttle body and replaced idle spring, replaced fuel filter replaced 6 spark plugs. At 157083 replaced crankshaft sensor, replaced supercharger pulleys and belts, replaced front anti roll bar D bushes, replaced rear shock lower bushes. At 156772 engine service plus strip out front wheel bearings clean repack with grease. Comes with 3 keys including the all important Valet key, very important to have when dropping it off at The Dorchester. All in all a very well looked after XJR6 that looks the part and when you flick the switch to sport it really takes off. Theres not many of them about and if you’ve read this far you know that, and as the years go by they will be a rare sight.
If I don’t get very close to my asking price that is not a problem, I will just keep it. The X300 is a great car. The X300 XJR6 is the one to have.
