Description
Triton built on a Norton wideline featherbed frame, less than 150 miles since built. Very smooth rider and handles like a dream.
Rebuilt front wheel, alloy rim, stainless spokes and polished Grimeca 4LS front brake. Rebuilt road holder forks, new stanchions and stainless external springs. John tickle polished yokes, stainless clip ons. Triumph Unit engine, 5 speed, belt drive conversion, SRM clutch plate (super light action). Polished aluminum petrol tank made to fit the bike. Polished aluminum oil tank. Stainless chain guard. Rebuilt rear wheel, lightened triumph conical hub. Dresda box section swingarm allowing wider tyres. Polished alloy seat unit with hyde seat. New wiring harness and Boyer electronic ignition. This bike is highly polished and attracts attention wherever it goes. Starts and runs well. It’s and absolute dream to ride in and out of the corners, helped by wider tyre.
First photo shows initial build with indicators fitted, (wiring still in place but now removed). This photo shows correct position of clip on bars, (currently fitted upside down to allow owner to ride without over stressing wrists, easily changed).
Photos also show bike displayed at two classic shows May/ June 2024 (Oundle and Bourne).
Genuine reason for sale, riding position no longer suitable to owner/ builder specifically due to clip ons. Old age and arthritis making riding position impossible.
May consider swap/ deal Commando or Triumph T120.
