Description
1980 Spitfire 1500 with overdrive. Rebuilt front suspension with Canley Classics trunnion-less conversion and adjustable wishbones. Rebuilt rear suspension, including new transverse leaf spring and lowering block. Koni dampers throughout and poly bushed. Adjustable trailing arms. Wider radiator and Revotec fan, new heater matrix and oil cooler. Recently fitted Moss reconditioned cylinder head and gasket. 123 programable ignition. Reconditioned differential and all new half shafts etc. New wheel bearings throughout, larger front disk brakes and callipers. New fibre glass gearbox tunnel and sealing/ sound proofing. Canley classic seat foams, new seat covers, but after 10 years slightly faded. Door cards OK but faded. Hood good, very slight ( 1cm ) unjoined area at bottom of quarter light. Hard top available, needs painting and glass installing ( all complete ). Extensively used over the years including trips to the South of France. Great car, drives extremely well and ready to enjoy through the summer.
