The bike was imported and restored by previous UK owners to very good standard.
When purchased the bike had all its body work re conditioned and the tank was properly restored inside and out.

I purchased the bike in 08/ 02/ 2019 for £4500 and have proof of purchased from a UK private enthusiast.
Since then I have BMW specialist Cray Engineering carry out £3180 modifications which include the following,
Twin front disc conversion with R65 forks & brakes
Rear shocks changes to matching R65 refurbished shocks
Front handle bar and controls changed with new slim wing mirrors
Gear linkage added to provide smooth change for easier riding.

Bike was fully serviced in January 16th 2024
Bike was then cleaned and protected by F. C. Trott's Professional Motorcycle Valeting and is ready to go,
I have a pair genuine BMW panniers, which I never got installed properly, which are included in the sale along with a trickle charger and new spare battery. I am 5ft 7 so wanted the bike to ride as comfortable as possible for my size which is does very well.
It is a lovely piece of engineering and design to enjoy, gets a lot of appreciation from fellow bikers and the public so it's a real shame to let it go, but I cannot justify owning it anymore, I just don't have the time to enjoy it properly living in central London with kids and busy work life. It's currently on display in my architect's office and you'd be welcome to visit and inspect.
