Recent work;
The last service (full/ major) at 114k just 2000 miles ago included; oil filter, air filter, pollen filters (2), spark plugs (8), auxiliary belt plus coolant system flush and brake fluid change. In addition to this it also had a new starter motor, viscous coupling and MAF unit.
In 2023 it had work to propshaft, gearbox mounts and exhaust system. It also had a new battery. In 2022 it had brake hoses, shock absorbers, brake fluid change and new alternator.
At 110k it had a new water pump and rear diff oil replacement and new seal. At 109k it had oil cooler replacement auto gearbox oil service. I could go on and on.
It has been an extremely well maintained car throughout its life and drives spot on. The 4. 4 v8 m62 engine pulls like a train and is more reliable than the m60 4. 0 found on earlier cars. The gearbox is ultra smooth working perfectly in drive, sport and manual modes. Brakes and suspension are all spot on.
The bodywork I would describe as very good condition. The paintwork has a deep shine benefiting from a recent professional detail. There are only very few minor age related imperfections to the body as to be expected for a car of this age and miles. No rust to arches or wings etc a very solid, cherished and well presented car.
The wheels (e46 BMW M3 CSL style) are unmarked, really suit the car and are wrapped in a matching set of tyres with loads of tread remaining.
Not only is this a real head-turner classic car that’s an easy daily driver it is also a safe investment with prices rising sharply. I have tried to price mine very sensibly at £15999 for a quick sale. Many are a lot more than this and in far worse condition. Anything much cheaper than this will be rotten or in need a lot of work.
