Description
The 1906 Renault AK 90 is undoubtedly one of the icons in the history of motorsport.

Ferenc Szisz won this first Grand Prix with the Renault AK90 at an average of 101. 195 km/ h.
As none of the original AK90s is known to survived, this unique re-creation was built by renowned restorers Jorge and Luis Penedo in Argentina using many original Renault parts from the same era. The whole project is fully documented with photographs.
The engine, chassis and axles are all of that period in Renault history, the innovative gearbox is the same used on the original racing cars and uses a unique four-speed-sequential-type of selector system.
The massive central radiator, perhaps the most characteristic piece of the AK90 built with more than 1, 200 pipes, was completely built from scratch and was far superior to any production car of the brand at the time.
The Historic Department of Renault Classic in France said that it’s the most faithful reproduction they had ever seen and a letter from them is included in the sale. This gives testament to how significant they feel this Renault AK90 is.
