This particular Volvo C70 is a 20T GT Manual , which has a huge spec over the standard C70 , only 300 GTs were imported into the U. K.
Besides being the most practical Convertible I have ever owned (Can you think of any others convertible that can carry 2 x 6 ft people in the rear seats ?) unlike the Automatic gearbox the Manual gearbox driven with care will return approaching 40 mpg on the run and considerably cheaper Car Tax also ULEZ compliant as well , NO , I don't get either !
It has a very comprehensive service history , 14 stamps in the book and in excess of 4000 pounds of invoices accompanying the vehicle , the car comes with 9months MOT , and I have replaced the serpentine belt , water pump, and tensioner and replaced brake pads , both rear discs and calipers , oil and filter with the local Volvo specialist !
Spec wise , 17"BBS Alloys , Power roof , remote central locking , 2 keys , power steering , electric windows all round , light grey leather interior in a presentable condition , other features are Dolby surround sound system (10 speaker including SUB) cruise , tracs, fuel computer , heated seats , fitted floor mats h/ lamp wash wipe , auto dim rear view mirror ! wind deflector , these models are noted to suffer from scuttle shake, this can be counteracted
by fitting a Volvo tow bar , which it has been previously sometime in its life ! but no towing eye supplied unfortunately!
Some wear marks on the roof , Alloys and bumpers could do with some slight cosmetic attention , bar that it drives superb and still grabs a lot of attention !
