Good condition daily driver that's never let me down.
My grandad bought this car from new, keeping it in a garage and only driving it locally. I inherited it in 2017 with only 30, 000 miles on the clock. Me and my wife have since used it as a daily commuter and it has been extremely reliable with great fuel economy.
The condition is very good for its age. There's some spots of rust on the bonnet and at the bottom of the back door, purely cosmetic and you can see from the photos that the sills and arches are rust-free. The paint is good with some fading, scratches, and a scrape on the front bumper.
The interior condition is very good and could get even better with a deeper clean. All buttons and dials fully working.
Although its a basic trim level it has Air Conditioning that works well.
I've fitted some Vauxhall Cavalier GSI alloys with Uniroyal Rainsport tyres. Plenty of tread on the front with less on the back (recently swapped around). It has a Sony Bluetooth head unit and upgraded Sony door speakers, and I've also fitted brighter headlight bulbs. I have a set of roof bars I'll be selling separately.
The reason for sale is that its not so comfortable sitting at 70 on my now longer commute, and the lack of modern safety features for my child.
The car comes with the original manual, service history, and 2 keys. The car has service stamps from 2007, 2008, 2014, and 2015. Then since my ownership it has been serviced every year with it's MOT. The rear heated window does not work, but my garage investigated and it is getting power so a new window should fix it. I myself have refreshed the suspension all round with OEM Monroe shock absorbers so the ride feels new again. I have also fitted a new rear exhaust silencer when the old one rusted through, spraying it with VHT paint to prevent corrosion.
