Volkswagen Thing VW Type 181 1974 for sale in white. 1600cc, 98500 miles on the clock. Would be a VW Trekker if in RHD trim.
Manual LHD US import. Current owner for 21 years.
It is rare to find a good solid, complete and unmolested example. In need of some TLC which I don't have the energy or enthusiasm for. I like the patina, but it could do with general lick-over/ tidy-up and stuff like new tyres, hood, bits of trim etc. Has good side screens and a working wiper motor I've not attached.
Currently on the road driving fine having started first time after being laid-up under a tarpaulin since last August. Historic vehicle so TAX, MOT and ULEZ free.
