Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2. 0 ‘Lusso’, 1981 (first registration 18 March 1981). Chassis (VIN) number ZAR116550* 00100788*, engine number AR01655* 088890*. Colour Grigio Chiaro Metallic (AR 748) combined with a blue cloth interior. Pale blue velour seats, blue carpet, and dark blue protective mats. This fabulous Alfa Romeo Alfetta was sold new in Italy. In August 2008 the car was imported to the Netherlands, where it was cherished a caring owner since 3 December 2008. This wonderful Alfetta 2. 0 is in a stunning and largely original condition. The odometer shows 13. 861 kilometres. Considering the total condition of the car the ‘clock went round’ only once. The bodywork and paintwork are pristine (only a bit of clear coat loss can be found around the driver door handle), and under the bonnet everything looks crisp and clean. The interior looks like new; the upholstery was beautifully renewed. The total picture is magnificent, this must be one of the finest 1980s Alfetta’s around. In 2021 the engine was overhauled, and the clutch was renewed. Furthermore, special springs were fitted and recently the brake pads were renewed. The Alfa Romeo Alfetta is a very sporty classic Berlina featuring mechanical details of a sports car… An aluminium four-cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts, a 5-speed “transaxle” gearbox fitted just in front of the rear suspension for 50-50 weight distribution, disc brakes around and a de-Dion rear axle. The alfa Romeo Alfetta is a very desirable driver car. In April 2023 the car has received its last full service. The car comes with a history (service) file which shows that over € 40. 000 have been invested in overhauls and improvements of this fine Alfa Romeo. The car is ready to be fully enjoyed and cherished by a next proud owner!
