A rare and iconic early Series One Land Rover — the 1762nd built, featuring the sought-after silver-painted chassis unique to the earliest production vehicles. This historically significant Land Rover has undergone an extensive, 4-year nut-and-bolt restoration, completed in June 2021 by a leading Norfolk-based marque specialist, with the goal of preserving originality wherever possible.
Provenance
Originally purchased new in January 1949 from Mann Egerton, Norwich, it spent its working life on a Norfolk farm, remaining in the region until rediscovered in 2017 — still in remarkably original condition and believed to have never left Norfolk in its 70+ year life.
