Description

A Ducati 1956 Grand Prix/ Formula III
Frame number F3. R. GP Engine number 75516/ 287 Blue/ Silver Fully restored. The original owner indicates the engine was by Franco Farne (who went on to set up Bimota) in the 175 Formula III events. The bike was raced in it’s current state with Heacy frame by Mick White who achieved great success in this formula. Mick was sponsored by well known Ducati specialist and author Mick Walker. The bike was then retired and has been recently on show in the Sammy Miller Museum. Last outing was at the Goodwood Revival a few years ago.
175cc, High comp piston, F3 Cam. I have had this beautiful machine hanging on the wall in my office but now a move means it's looking for another wall or rider.
