1974 Honda Egli Racer with 750cc: A Timeless Masterpiece
We are delighted to present this unique 1974 Honda Egli Racer, a motorcycle with a rich history and iconic design. This bike was once owned by the renowned sidecar racer John Woods. After his passing, the bike was sold by his brother.
Authentic Egli Chassis
The motorcycle has an Egli chassis number dating back to 1974. During a visit to the Egli factory in 2018, the chassis number was confirmed and dated. The original Egli chassis, along with the Marzocchi Imola forks, wheels, tank, seat, swingarm, and oil tank, emphasizes the authenticity and historical value of this motorcycle.
Restoration and Improvements
After being idle for many years, the motorcycle underwent a thorough restoration in 2008. During this restoration, high-quality parts were added, including stainless steel valves, Kibblewhite racing valve springs, and titanium valve spring retainers. The bike is now equipped with a 1978 F2 engine that, after tuning, delivers an impressive 87 bhp.
