A rare version, and all the more so in this condition, our model in its champagne metallic livery was fully restored in 2006 by Étoile Collections in Paris, who undertook the following work: full paintwork, upholstery refurbishment, cylinder head prepared for unleaded use, exhaust system replacement, new shock absorbers, radiator and new hoses installed among others. Since 2006, this Mercedes 280 SE Coupé has been perfectly maintained, mainly by Étoile Collections as the €24, 000 invoice file attests. In 2014, the bumpers, white steering wheel, upholstery and woodwork were redone. The file also allows us to confirm that the car has passed through the hands of six owners since 1984, and today our car is a true marvel in terms of bodywork, interior and mechanical aspects.
