I bought the RS primarily for using and driving on long holidays in France which I did for many years, three or four times a year, before unfortunately losing my left leg two and a half years ago. In my opinion it is the best Focus RS and a proper Driver’s car. Driven properly it still provides a fantastic safe and enjoyable experience, whether traveling on the highway, in town or on scenic winding country roads. I would love to carry on owning and driving it but realistically I have to reluctantly admit that with a prosthetic leg I can not be comfortable in driving it as it should be driven. The RS has never been thrashed about, I have just enjoyed spirited driving on the beautiful roads of France. It has never let me down in any respect and I will be so sad to see it go.
