Description
1959 Jaguar XK150 3. 4 Litre FHC Manual with overdrive. RHD. British Racing Green with contrasting green leather interior.
This matching numbers Jaguar was supplied new by Henlys Limited, London to its first owner W. Wilson Ltd of Wood Green, London N22. The car was fully restored to a very high standard in the 1990s and has been kept in pristine condition since, including many years in a special de humidifier. At the time of the body off, nut and bolt restoration, the colour was changed from Indigo blue to British Racing Green. The rebuild involved a full mechanical overhaul, bodywork rebuild and new interior, all to a very high standard. The car was then sold by JD Classics to a well known collector in Holland, returning to the UK in 2008.
The car starts, runs and drives beautifully and is difficult to fault in any way. There is a comprehensive list of work done in recent years to keep up the pristine standard. It has original handbooks and a massive history file. It sits on 16" chrome wire wheels shod with new Pirelli Cinturato tyres and has just had a recent service and check over by the highly respected Jaguar specialists The Splined Hub of Oundle, Northants.
