I have owned this car since 2017 when I personally imported the Lancia from Rome in Italy to the UK. After searching for many years I came across this lovely example which was being sold by a well known and highly respected classic Italian parts supplier.
After a quick trip to view the car in person I knew that this was the car I had been searching for, really good honest examples are very thin on the ground.
The bodywork is very straight, not perfect, the paint has a nice shine, it has been repainted but a long time ago so now shows a little patina. You will be impressed with just how solid the car is.
The interior is all original, with great patina. The leather is lovely and compliments the exterior colour of Doncaster Grigio which was a special order colour back in 1963. The mats are period correct, the dash top is unmarked and without any cracks. The parcel shelf is original and untouched, the headliner is lovely too.
This Flavia is from the first 12 months of production, so it has the 1500cc twin carb boxer engine, coupled with a 4 speed manual gearbox, both are original to the car and in perfect working order.
The Coupe has recently been fully serviced with the complete braking system overhauled, it comes with a UK MOT valid until September 2024.
If you are seriously in the market for a super cool Pininfarina designed Italian coupe then this car should be on your view list. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, although not perfect it does stand out as an original well cared for coupe.
