Description
Here for sale is my Alfa GT Q2 1. 9 JTD (150HP) with 117, 000 genuine miles on the clock. This is a very rare example of the GT. Registered on a 2010 plate, this is one of the very last examples to come out of the production line.
Being the rare variant (Q2), this car has an optional extra from factory which is a limited slip differential which increases the performance and handling. It is truly great to drive! There were only 91 of these cars brought to the UK! So, if you are after a unique looking Alfa with rare specifications, this is the car for you. Alongside this, the paint finish (805 ETNA BLACK) is an extremely rare optional extra. There is a lovely bronze flake which brings the car to life. When the sun starts shining, it is very easy on the eyes.

Condition
Interior:
The condition of the interior is very good for the age. The leather seats are very comfy and look fantastic with the red stitching. There is some slight wear to the bolster on the drivers seat only. The leather on the passenger side is slightly cracked but no is cause for concern. Original floor mats are present and in very good condition. Steering wheel and dashboard are all very tidy. Headliner is clean and tidy along with the floor carpets. Rear leather seats and all door cards look great with minimal signs of use. Overall, the interior is well presented and it's a really nice place to be!
Exterior (Please look at the photos carefully):
The exterior of the car is very good. The paintwork has a few blemishes and scratches. Stone chips are minimal with only a few at the front. The grille, badges and door mirrors are all in good condition. Some curb marks are present on the wheels, this is not very noticeable.
Sills are in good condition; the foam inserts have been removed and the sills have minimal signs of corrosion. Only some slight jacking point dents. (Very rare to see as the sills are a common issue on GT’s)
All exterior trim and fittings are in good condition. The only major blemish is the O/ S headlight is slightly cloudy, a polish would bring this back life. Twin chrome tailpipe looks great and is in good condition. Overall, the exterior of the car is in lovely condition.
Mechanical Infomation
This car has exceptional history with documents running into thousands. Work I have caried out includes:
- Brand new clutch
- 2 driveshafts replaced.
- 2 rear shock absorbers replaced.
- 2 Anti-rollbar links replaced.
- 2 boost pipes replaced.
- Full service
The engine pulls in all gears and the car drives very well. It has taken me up and down the country without any problems. The ride is firm but that is due to the nature of this car. Handling is exceptional!! The car feels tight and rigid, it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
This car has been owned by previous Alfa Romeo owners club members who have a passion for perfection. (Including myself) The extensive history backs all of this up. The mileage (117, 200) is a fair amount but is truly nothing on these engines, they have been known to go on and on without any reliability issues. The mileage will creep up slightly as this is my daily driver.
Two keys, V5 and a large wallet of paperwork will come with the car.
