Late m96 3. 2 litre flat six engine developing 280 bhp and standard features include air conditioning, PSM, a wind deflector, an onboard computer, silver dials and 18" Boxster S II wheels.
The extensive list of desirable factory-fitted options includes Bi-Xenon headlights, BOSE Audio and Sat Nav, Sports seats, Porsche Active Suspension Management & Park distance control. Unusually for a Boxster it was also factory specified with 4 “X” code exclusive options, these being a short shift gear selector, polished finish stainless steel exhaust outlets and exterior finish atlas grey for the roll over bar & centre console. Atlas Grey is a lovely colour with a classy dark blueish grey tone in normal light but has a really vibrant metallic finish with hints of blue, purple and green when the Sun’s out.
Regular moderate use by its 3 registered owners has kept the mileage very reasonable at 58700 miles from new with regular and correct maintenance being carried out by both main dealers & independent marque specialists. It has just had both front coil springs including new top mounts & bump stops (all Porsche genuine parts) replaced and a minor service with Mobil oil & Mahle filters at Paragon. I have also replaced the heater control switches with upgraded ceramic coated items due to the common problem of ageing to the factory finish. The interior is in very good order with none of the usual wear and tear that Boxsters can accumulate. The exterior and roof are also in fine order. The wheels are free of damage & are were recently fitted with 4 new Michelin pilot sport tyres with the correct Porsche N rating.
The Boxster was purchased from the very highly regarded Paragon Porsche in 2019 at 41000 miles.
A fine driving Boxster S in excellent order, ready to enjoy. Complete with all its original documentation and 2 working remote keys. A stand out specification of a rightly well regarded model that has avoided the usual pitfalls of poor ownership or maintenance and it shows in the drive experience.
Any hassle free inspections welcomed by those prioritising provenance and price equally. Complete history including time/ distance items so often “forgotten”. Had a Major service including spark plugs 2023. Just had a minor service and front coil springs and mounts/ bump stops replaced (due to a cracked coils spring, very common) by Paragon Porsche. Original service book and folder with paper invoices, MOT history and certificates.
