Ruby red 1998 Lotus Elise, currently with approximately 62, 000 miles on the clock. The car has a fresh MOT with no advisories, with the next one due 11/ 05/ 2025.
Benefits from an extremely high-spec Honda K20-series engine delivering approximately 270-280bhp.
The 2. 2L k20A2 engine was originally built circa 2012 by Clockwise Motion and was fully rebuilt by HPE in 2023. The cost to replicate this engine build would be in the region of £13, 000.
The rebuilt engine was fitted at 61, 415 miles, has been fully run-in, and post-running-in service completed at 62, 000 miles.
At the same time as fitting the rebuilt engine, the following additional works were carried out:
- Brand new clutch and release bearing
- New Elise Parts billet rear uprights and aluminium plinths

The car has been substantially improved with additional modifications:
- The gearbox incorporates a slightly taller 6th gear to help with cruising on the motorway (standard gear comes with car). The standard 5th gear is capable of slightly over 120mph meaning 6th is rarely used outside motorway driving
- Stiffer selector springs (standard springs come with car) and S2 Elise shifter fitted.
- HPE Honda hubs fitted at approximately 61, 000 miles with new outer CVs. Outer CVs greased with NEO - HPCC#1 and inners cleaned, inspected and regreased with GKN Tripode joint grease at the same time
- Spitfire toe links
- Gaz mono shocks
- Almost new EP 2 part dics on the front axle (fitted Sept 2021)
- Grooved and vented discs on the rear
- EP steering rack raiser plates fitted with replacement rack (fitted 2020) when the rack was replaced as well. Original rack comes with car (requires rebuilding)
- Corbeau LE Pro seats (as-new condition, fitted 2021)
- Sabelt harnesses (standard belts come with car but not fitted)
- EP quick release steering wheel boss
Brand new front tyres just fitted to AWI wheels; plenty of tread left on rears. Comes with a second set of wheels (Team Dynamics Pro Race 1. 2 wheels) fitted with Toyo 888r tyres.
