Description
Mileage 115, 990 on MOT on 21st March, 2024, Engine is in good condition, bodywork is starting to show it’s age, but would look like a new car with a re-spray, which I’ll leave to the buyer for their choice.
One of the last W201 models off the production line in 1993, it’s Perfect for long distance travel and could comfortably drive on German ‘white sign’ Motorways at 150mph and with the Sportline accelerator button, will change down at 70mph to reach 90-100mph in three to four seconds. So still going strong. The Car has ‘Special Provenance’:- It was featured on the front page of ‘Mercedes Magazine’ which introduces it as ‘Basic but brilliant young timer’, in its five page article.
The first owner was ‘Felicity Kendal’, Star of the TV Classic ‘It’s a good life’, who bought the Car on August 1st 1993.
I have a copy of the Magazine with the five page article plus photographs showcasing this particular Mercedes, which I don’t think I can show here due to ‘Copyright Issues’, but I can supply copy of the article via email with photographs and will give the Magazine about this particular Car in it as a free gift.
