Ulez, lez compliant in Scotland!
1992 Mercedes 190e 2. 6 straight six
164 bhp 4 door saloon, 46, 700 miles.
Stunning Japanese import which was hand picked and imported by myself at the end of 2020 for my personal collection.
This was a one Japanese owner vehicle from Tokyo. Which was then purchased by myself and brought over to the UK.
And has been kept in my collection since.
Never gets driven unless its to just keep it ticking over once every few months or to the MOT test station and back, once a year, and that's about it.
The car came with Mercedes Benz of Tokyo service history.

It also came with the original Mercedes Benz wallet & manual, and two sets of keys.
As this car has come from Tokyo, where they don't use salt on the roads, cars tend to be very well preserved. Therefore this car has thus far manged to escape the pearls of rust and corrosion.
So although the car is 32 years old on paper, from structural point of view, its chassis and body is closer to being only a few years old, due to the fact how well preserved its been kept till now.
As shown in the photographs, the undercarriage and engine bay speaks for themselves, so much so that many of the parts are still in original condition. It even still has the original brake pipes and Mercedes exhaust fitted on it since 1992!
In Japan most of the Mercedes that I've seen, always tend to be of the highest spec as compares with UK models.

It still drives like a new car, and is truly is a joy to drive, pulls incredibly well with a nice throaty sound under hard acceleration.
Being over 30 years old means that it automatically qualifies for ulez/ lez exemption in Scotland.
Even though this car is in exceptional condition for its age, its not without snags. The cassette deck is currently not operational, and as a result would be best for the new owner to replace it with a new stereo unit. I prefer to sell the car in its purest and original condition, hence why i have left it as is.
There is no oil leaks and the engine bay is bone dry.
Lastly as this is one of the first questions i keep getting asked.... There is NO rust anywhere on the car, zero, none around the arches, none in the tyre well area, none in the trunk, none around the struts, none underneath, none anywhere whatso ever.
Other than that there’s not much to say, except to come and view the car if it interests you.
Or Send out your best inspectors to view the car, bearing in mind that there's not many low mileage 2. 6's out there in this condition.
Can also have the car delivered to most parts of the Uk at separate cost.
