A most reluctant sale of my 1990 VW Golf MK1 GTI Cabriolet. Finished in Paprika Red it has covered just 91, 130 miles. I’ve had the car since 2018 – during my tenure it has always been dry stored and used sparingly during the summer months.
Regularly serviced during my ownership. Notable maintenance since I’ve had the car has included a new timing belt (cambelt), cooling fan and MOT fitted in 2018, and other than regular upkeep she has always been “on the button”, and has always passed the MOT with no issues during my ownership.
The bodywork and interior both present very well – overall it is a lovely unmolested example.
The car retains the correct and original alloy wheels in excellent condition.
It has had just 5 previous keepers. Electric hood in full working order. Two keys.

There is a valid MOT until June, however I am happy to provide a full 12 months on sale along with having the car serviced ready for the nextI bought this car because I have always loved the big bumper Mk1 GTI look. I have not seen another in this colour and condition during my ownership. If I sell this car my lasting memory will be top down, country lanes, 2nd - 4th gear!!!
