This is a very rare 2 litre Series 2 Land Rover 88 inch. It is one of only 1703 built with the 2 litre petrol engine carried over from the Series 1.
I believe there are only about 70 of these 1418 numbered cars known about at the present time.

2482 WE was registered in Sheffield on 5 September 1958 and has spent most of its life there.
The car has a lovely history including the original buff log book and an original bill of sale from 1962.
I appears that it was never a hard worked vehicle, I believe being used as an estate runabout for lots of its life.
The originality of this Land Rover is amazing

all the early features are present including tailgate, front valance, wiper motors, heater, dash instruments, elephant hide seats etc.
Original Chassis and bulkhead in remarkable condition. The gearbox and clutch work perfectly.
Quite a lot of work completed in my ownership to add to usability including a new Roamerdrive overdrive in 2022 which makes a vast difference in today's traffic. Other work includes
Engine decoke and re-build in 2022 including new timing chain and clutch etc,
Replaced entire braking system in 2020 with new OE master cylinder, complete new brake lines and flexibles.
Rebuilt suspension in 2020 with new shocks and springs.
Replacement Autosparks complete wiring loom in 2020

Recent new canvas top.
