L. H. D. Very rare, early strip dash 1969 serie A Fiat 130 berlina. Imported from Italy around 2014 and owned by me since 2019. The bodywork is original, unrestored but in very good condition.
Big, comfortable saloon with real presence, the v6 makes a fantastic sound. Coupled with the dog leg zf gearbox, it’s easy to make rapid progress through modern traffic.
Mechanically, the car is now fitted with the later v6 3. 2l/ zf manual configuration (the original 2. 8engine and auto box are included in the sale).
The 3. 2 engine has been thoroughly overhauled before fitting, work carried out as follows:
. Flywheel skimmed
. New clutch fitted
. New gaskets throughout engine
. New piston rings
. Big end bearings
. Valve stem seals
. New faucet Fuel pump
. Starter motor reconditioned.
. Pistons and rods balanced.
. New top hose
. Carb overhaul.
All seats, door cards and parcel shelf retrimmed in caramel leather and remaining faithful to original stitch patterns.
The car has been stored indoors for the duration of my ownership and has been kept in fantastic condition, the 3. 2/ manual conversion has transformed the driving experience, greatly improving performance as well as a useful increase in mpg. Lots of spares included with the sale.
