A great example of a 1995 Rover Mini Cooper SPI in 'Flame Red'
I am sadly looking to sell my 1995 Classic Mini Cooper SPI. The car runs well and starts first time. This little car is great to drive, the engine and gear changes are smooth, with the clutch also in good condition.
This car has covered only 2700 miles, since purchased in 2022 and has served as my daily driver for driving around town. The car has been maintained to a high standard and has documentation to support this.
The car has some unique features including MK1 style brightwork (please note, AA badge not included in sale) and custom red leather seats, courtesy of the previous owner.
The car has a few quality of life improvements:
- LED headlamps (originals and R700s available)
- K&D short shifter (original available)
- DAB/ FM/ Bluetooth Radio, Blaupunkt Valencia
- Kenwood speakers in rear parcel shelf.
- Driver side seat has extended seat position bracket
- 14 inch Mountney steering wheel (original Cooper wheel available)
- Sound dampening under bonnet (see images)
- Front electric windows.
- Dual 12V sockets
Both subframes are in good condition.
Spare tyre and toolkit are in boot
Car is stored on a private driveway and covered whilst not in use.
Whilst not concourse condition, this is still a great example of a timeless classic.
There is one small blemish of note; a scratch on the front nearside of the roof, please see image. Roof integrity has not been compromised.
Happy to provide more info if required.
Happy to arrange viewing / test drive.
* Please note, driver must be insured for a test drive. The car has a comprehensive MOT history and is MOT'd until Dec 2024.
Oil change and new oil filter in May 2024
New alternator, new Lambda sensor, new Coolant Temp Sensor, all within the last 2 years
4 new tyres, Yokohama 165/ 60 R12s, fitted in December 2022 and are in great condition.
The car has had 8 owners including myself and was kept within the family for a while by the owner before me.
Car has been written off twice in the past whilst with previous owners, both CAT D (now CAT N). It was repaired at the owners expense each time to a high standard.
